I noticed that some adult sites don't bother to put an adult content warning page on their domain root. Why is that?

I know that such a warning won't keep out those who shouldn't be there, but isn't it a good idea anyway?

Do short attention spanned surfer avoid sites with warning on the index and prefer to go directly to the main page where all the links and thumbs are?

I made a quick no frills warning page and link tracked both the enter and exit links and noticed 40 odd clicked the enter, and 8 clicked exit

So I guess with sending the traffic straight to the site without a warning pages gets more ppl to the main area and more $$ - However you could also link the exit to a main stream sponsor and probly pick up more on those surfers - as they may just close the 'main site' window. So it could be just a simple way to filter the traffic....

Benifits either way you look at it I guess

Hello Wizzard and welcome to TGPs Rule!

Know of any good main stream sponsor for exit traffic?

Thanks :D

Not really aye, you could try sending the exit traffic to a PPC search engine like yoursearchnow.com :)

Or just blink link to with javascript to the raw option on fpctraffic.com cos no matter what happens, you will make money there. :thumbsup
