I know not everybody is aware of the fact that I'm no longer in school....unfortunately, circumstances beyond my control made things a bit rough for me to continue towards my certifications - but I'm actually OK with that at the moment, cuz the euphoria stemming from earning the almighty dollar has overcome the sadness of having to leave school. http://tgpsrule.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
I'm now officially what is called a 'Level 2 DC Power Installer'. I work in iron racks some 15+ feet off the floor, with power cable that (at its heaviest) can weigh up to 2.7 pounds per foot. Of course, I'm the only bitch on the crew...and the smallest, which means I end up sewing the cable to the racks in some really tight places.
Now we all know how I feel about heights, right?? I HATE 'EM!!
However, be that as it may, one cannot say no when the price is right....and gods know theyre payin me the right price! http://tgpsrule.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
So, here I was last night...some 30 feet off the floor, hooked up into a harness, sewing that damned cable to the rack! (Yes, the pic is blurry but what can one expect when it was taken with a cellphone? )
