yes, from what i hear submitters will use different ip's for each identity/handle they use. this is of course cheating. if all the other information remains the same (domain email addy and handle etc) then they're obviously not trying to cheat, they just have a dynamic ip address.

this question seems to relate to a question i posted in another thread today about how many galleries per day is optimal. i really mean, how many galleries should one non-cheating submitter use before it becomes useless. my feeling is that more than three is probably futile, however i'm trying 5 per day at the moment to see if it's worth the effort. would love some feedback from expert submitters such as you Pookie. :D

there was a time a couple years back when I was submitting about 5 a day. it does bring in more $$$ at least in my experience it did. I think laziness has set in for me so I do up to 3 a day. but since I promote both pic and movie galleries, i'm slowly getting into the habit of submitting 2 galleries per type. i do believe anne submits like 5 movie galleries a day and i think she does rather well. but you'll have to ask her

well Pookie, your advice in the SB forum has significantly increased the effectiveness of my galleries, so i do think you're a bit of an expert! :bowdown ;)

actually, i don't recall seven (Leo) having time to offer any suggestions as to why my galleries sucked! but he did indeed have just enough time to confirm that they do really suck! :p

thanks for the much needed inspiration! one thing i do know about submissions is they're incredibly tedious! i do some movie galleries too for my adult bouncer site, but is still desperately need to rework my designs for those galleries too!

Many movie posts (mgps) actually allow multiple submissions so no prob there.. most TGPs, however, do not allow more than 1 or 2. If you have significantly different templates, different sponsors, diff domains, diff IPs just submit away to them. Remember you are a thief only when you are caught :D At the same token, if you do have just a little moderations to your submits better not try this cos reviewer like myself will catch it in a fraction of a sec and ban you. Why's that you ask? cos I can only list about 75 galleries/day (cos I like to keep my total page size at root domain under 100 kb for SE purposes) and i would like to give everyone a fair chance of getting listed and if i list many of the same kinda galleries my prod goes down = traffic goes down :(

and oh! for tgps like thehun i wouldn't even try this hankypanky.. as the matter of fact TGPs of that importance I'd rather just buy guranteed spots cos it pays to do so :thumbsup

I have an excellent MGP database but my TGP one is kinda crap. I usually just use chameleon if I want to do a pic gal. Really need to get into TGP galleries a bit more. But I've been saying that for a year now so I probably won't LOL.

If anyone has a good TGP database, I can trade it for my kick ass MGP DB :)

Yeah, all done by hand. For Advanced Submitter. I've had as many as 400 MGPs in there but I've trimmed it down to about 250 that actually have any traffic.

The chameleon database is probably the best around for TGPs. I probably need to adapt it to my needs and start getting some TGP partner accounts. It's just hard to get motivated to learn a whole method of doing business.

yeah Anne, it always seems to be a process of weeding out all the crap tgp's. when you go applying for all those partner accounts make sure you use a form filler like roboform, it's a god send!
i swear, right now i'm 50/50 about dropping gallery submissions altogether and returning to avs!

what made you remove a lot of the mgps from your database? not enough traffic?

Yep. They were either sending me too little to possibly make a sale on (like less than 10 hits a day) or they weren't listing me at all (usually coz they were dead or had switched to HGs only).

ok I have put my 2 cents in even though it's already been said.

submitting more than one gallery does make more money.

I just do 2 myself and it's not even everyday and I've made sales on both.
I do one everyday and a second one every other day or so.

And it's TGP not MGP.
