I Hate Ants!!!!

I despise them with a passion! when i lived with my then boyfriend and his parents, their 30 year old house was constantly infested with ants! ants everywhere! they were too damn cheap to call an exterminator. they always handed us bottles of Raid. now that we are in our own home, we were able to enjoy it for 2 full months before ants started to show up :(

I hate ants!! the creepy-crawly bastards are what my nightmares are made of!

A couple years ago, right after OB had first bought her house, I was (just like i always am) out doing some yardwork....i was pulling weeds from around the trunk of a small palm-type tree. Well, I barely bumped the tree with my shoulder, and about a minute later I realized that to my horror, there were ants on me!

and not just a couple....oh no, that wouldnt be traumatic enuff!

A small nest had been built in some crevice of the tree, and when I bumped into the trunk, part of the damned nest ~and all the ants contained within ~ came loose and landed on my head, covering me with them nasty monsters!!

Needless to say, OB's hubby pulled up at lunchtime to see me looking like a deranged lunatic....running around the front yard, arms flailing, head shaking, and at the same time attempting to strip off my clothing as I intended to run strait for the shower to get them off me!

I fukking hate ants!

Heya Nelson...remember way back when on SB, you had posted a picture of some naaaasty bug that you guys have where you are...the one that you can get in trouble if ya get caught killing one (or something like that, you'd said)...can we see it again?

Ants are so small, yet they have a bigger heart than 99% of the people on this planet.

I was taking a dump the other day, when I noticed a single ant slowly dragging a grain of rice away. This little guy wasn't doing this for himself, he was doing it for the rest of the colony (yes, feminist whackos, it's my story, this worker ant is male, don't mess with my story).

I found the ant colony he was headed for and decided to just place my finger near the entrance to the hole. Big mistake! These are red fire ants, they quickly jumped on my finger and opened up a can of whoop-ass on me.

Fire ants aren't pussies, such as most people. They walk around with their matter-of-fact attitude and dare any creature to bring-it-on.
