First question from a complete TGP newbie, i'm looking at which tgp software i should use? anyone got recommendations, i've spend a lot of time looking at jmbs site and unsure if they are the best people to go with?

Second question which software to use for making galleries?

I'm looking at upgrading/chaning what i've got and guess it's a good place to ask before buying.

Thanks

Alexis.

PS Could we maybe have a newbie section? as I know to start off with a lot of my questions are going to be very basic for most people here! ;)

you can ask your tgp questions in the corresponding tgp forum on this site ;)

a very popular tgp script being used is the autogallery sql. there's also comus thumbs but thats very complicated. you would have to allow for a huge learning curve. autogallery is pretty much explanatory.

as for your second question, you have 3 choices:
1. build the galleries by hand (code em yourself)
2. hire a designer to build a template for you
3. buy a cheesy software that builds a lame looking gallery for you
