Can a movie gallery have pictures too? Or would that be better for an AVS member's area?

If I have 3 videos how many pictures can I have?

Should extra pictures in a video gallery be linked also or should they be just larger than normal thumbs?

yes they can have pics but it's not necessary plus some mgps will decline you for having a mix however, you may get a better result with tgp traffic with pic/movies mix galleries. Extra pics that looks like thumbs should be unlinked so there's no blind links. Check the galleries listed here to get an idea how average mgp galleries should look.

I don't like the mix too much.. on thehun it used to kill our servers.. too many downloads/bandwith even thou it'd generate a couple extra signups than totally movie galleries.

If you have movies on your page don't use pics. Waste of BW. I also find that alot of the scripts that tgp's use will kick the galleries back.

How about if I have a regular picture gallery (submitted to tgp) but have a second page with one video? So that instead of having surfers click directly to my sponsor I have them click to my second page from a link which reads something like "see a hot video clip of this girl in action". Then from the second page link to my sponsor, telling to surf to click here to see the full uncut video.

But maybe any unexpected use of a link would be considered blind by TGP owners.

What about a small thumb linked to the video clip? I'm trying to design something that would sell yet wouldn't upset tgp/mgp owner (I don't think I could upset a surfer since I don't mislead).

i think it's wise to link to a page on your own server anyhow... for many reasons... i usually clone the first tour page of my sponsors site and put it on my server, then link to that.
